Phra Nak Prok is one of the most beautiful and unique Buddhist amulets in Thailand. Its most distinctive feature is the Buddha in a meditative posture seated on the hood of a Naga (serpent deity), whose head is spread out protectively above. This symbolizes the legend of King Muchalinda the Naga protecting the Buddha from a storm.
